PET PASSPORTS MEAN YOU CAN TAKE THEM ABROAD

Long gone are the days of having to leave your pet in boarding kennels when you go abroad. A valid pet passport means that you can take them with you without the fear of long quarantine periods on your return. Some conditions must be met before a pet passport will be issued. Your pet must:

 •  Have a microchip implanted

 •  Be at least 15 weeks old at the time of travel

 •  Be up to date on all vaccinations (including rabies)

Restrictions may apply

Before you make any firm travel plans, give us a call to book an appointment. We can help you to determine that the country you are travelling to is participating in the scheme. It's also worth noting that only certain transport companies are permitted to transport pets back into the UK, and only on specified routes. If you need advice on this, please call.
